SAFETY GUIDELINES

At ManasPath, your safety, well-being, and emotional sovereignty are our highest priority.
These Safety Guidelines outline how to participate responsibly in our breathwork, emotional release, neuro-meditation sessions, and technology-based assessments (Bio-Well, EEG, QEEG, HRV).

Please read and follow these guidelines carefully before joining any session.


1. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

By participating in any ManasPath program, you acknowledge:

  • You are voluntarily engaging in inner-work practices

  • You are responsible for your physical, emotional, and mental well-being

  • You will participate at your own pace

  • You may stop at any time

  • You will seek medical help if you feel unwell

Our facilitators guide the process, but you are in charge of your experience.


2. MEDICAL SAFETY & CLEARANCE

These practices may not be suitable for everyone.

Seek medical clearance if you have:

  • Cardiovascular conditions

  • Epilepsy or a history of seizures

  • Asthma or breathing issues

  • High/low blood pressure

  • Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis

  • Recent surgeries

  • Chronic migraines

  • Severe trauma/PTSD

  • Neurological conditions

  • Pregnancy

If unsure, please consult a doctor before participating.


3. BREATHWORK SAFETY

Breathwork may influence:

  • Heart rate

  • Blood pressure

  • Emotional intensity

  • Nervous system activation

Do NOT participate if:

  • You are fainting easily

  • You have a respiratory infection

  • You are under alcohol or drugs

  • You feel emotionally unstable today

During the session:

  • Breathe at a pace that feels safe

  • If lightheaded, slow the breath

  • If emotional release arises, allow gently

  • Stop immediately if:

    • Vision blurs

    • You feel chest tightness

    • You feel you may faint

You can always return to normal breathing.


4. EMOTIONAL RELEASE SAFETY

Our methods may surface stored emotional energy.

Normal responses may include:

  • Crying

  • Tingling

  • Heat or cold

  • Shaking or body movements

  • Memories resurfacing

What to do:

  • Allow the emotion without force

  • Stay connected to your breath

  • Follow facilitator prompts

  • If overwhelmed → raise your hand or signal

  • You may pause, ground, or rest anytime

This is a supportive, non-judgmental environment.


5. NEURO-MEDITATION & NERVOUS SYSTEM WORK SAFETY

These practices may change internal states.

Possible experiences:

  • Calm or stillness

  • Emotional release

  • Altered awareness

  • Deep relaxation

  • Memory resurfacing

  • Energy movement sensations

Safety steps:

  • Keep your spine supported

  • Sit or lie down comfortably

  • If dissociation occurs → open eyes & ground

  • Stop if you feel unsafe


6. BIO-WELL, EEG, QEEG & HRV SAFETY

These technologies are safe, non-invasive, and do not emit harmful radiation.

During these scans:

  • Stay relaxed and still

  • Follow the facilitator’s instructions

  • Remove rings or metal objects (Bio-Well)

  • Maintain silence during EEG/QEEG

  • Do not force breath or posture

You should NOT participate if:

  • You have metal implants directly affecting scanning

  • You have severe tremors

  • You cannot remain still

  • You are experiencing panic symptoms

All results are informational only and NOT medical diagnostics.


7. GROUP WORKSHOP SAFETY

Before the session:

  • Eat light food

  • Avoid caffeine or heavy meals

  • Hydrate

  • Wear comfortable clothing

  • Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior

During the session:

  • Respect personal space

  • Avoid comparing your experience with others

  • Follow instructions calmly

  • You may rest at any point

After the session:

  • Drink water

  • Ground yourself (walk, sit quietly)

  • Avoid crowded or overstimulating environments

  • Journal your experience


8. SENSITIVITY & CONTRAINDICATIONS

Avoid practicing if:

  • You are emotionally unstable today

  • You have consumed drugs or alcohol

  • You are in an acute trauma episode

  • You feel unsafe or ungrounded

  • You are physically unwell (fever, infection, etc.)

Always honor your body.


9. PRESENCE & AWARENESS

To ensure your safety:

  • Keep eyes open if feeling dizzy

  • Slow down anytime

  • Take breaks whenever needed

  • Do not force sensations or outcomes

  • Avoid dramatic overbreathing

  • Stay aware of your surroundings

Inner work is not a competition.


10. CONFIDENTIALITY & RESPECT

  • Respect all participants

  • No recording of sessions

  • No sharing of others’ stories

  • Maintain emotional boundaries

  • Respect consent during partner exercises

ManasPath is a safe, sacred environment.


11. NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL CARE

ManasPath:

  • Does NOT diagnose

  • Does NOT treat mental illness

  • Does NOT offer therapy

  • Does NOT replace medical professionals

Seek professional help if you experience:

  • Suicidal thoughts

  • Severe depression

  • Trauma flashbacks

  • Panic attacks

  • Emotional instability

We support emotional well-being but do not replace clinical care.


12. EMERGENCIES

In India, for emergencies call 108.
If you feel unwell during the session:

  • Stop immediately

  • Inform the facilitator

  • Ground yourself

  • Seek medical attention if necessary


13. AGREEMENT TO SAFETY GUIDELINES

By joining any ManasPath session or workshop, you confirm that:

  • You have read these guidelines

  • You understand the risks

  • You agree to participate at your own responsibility

  • You release ManasPath from liability
